[deleted name] investigator, CA. Secretary of State[‘]s office, made available material he compiled concerning Peoples Temple. His investigation was directed at substantiating allegations of fraudulent activity by registered notary publics. He obtained background info concerning them. He made available copies of driver’s licenses of many of these individuals, some of whom are members of the Peoples Temple corporation. He also made available notary public applications by some members of the Peoples Temple which applications contained

considerable background information. He also furnished incorporation papers for the Apolistic [Apostolic] Corporation, P.O. Box 15150, San Francisco, California, which apparently is incorporated by members of the Peoples Temple.
The above plus miscellaneous papers will be reported to San Francisco by airtel.
[deleted name] stated Joe Mazor, private investigator, San Francisco, address unknown, has conducted investigation concerning members of the Peoples Temple. He advised that [deleted name], Contra Costa County Probation Officer, Martinez, CA. was an active member of the Peoples Temple and reportedly close to Jones. He stated Steven Katsaris, Ukiah, CA. telephone [deleted number] had children in the Peoples Temple and has done considerable work concerning the Temple in an effort to get his children back.
[deleted name] alsto [also] stated [deleted name], U.S. Customs, San Francisco, phone [deleted number] has conducted investigation of Peoples Temple concerning allegations of smuggling weapons to Guyana.
