1. Assistant Police Commissioner Cecil Roberts, who has been the prinicipal [principal] GOG [Government of Guyana] liaison officer with the FBI technical team, now informs us that GOG does not repeat not require the services of a pathologist at this time. Roberts indicates that GOG is grateful for the valuable assistance that technical team now in Guyana has provided to GOG.
2. Embassy appreciative of efforts to locate pathologist but in view of Roberts’ statement it now appears that further action on this request is not now required.
