San Francisco Daily Summary

An authorized complaint filed this date charging eight individuals with violation of Title 18, Section 351A and D, United States Code, and no bail warrants issued.

[deleted name] [Jim Cobb] in company of two San Francisco special agents and one AUSA [Assistant U.S. Attorney], left 3:00 P.M., this date, aboard Delta Airlines flight 1028 to arrive Charleston, South Carolina 1:25 A.M., November 25, 1978. [Cobb] will attempt to identify for authorities anyone named in warrants.

Subpoenas for persons will not be issued by USA [U.S. Attorney] per instructions received from Deputy Attorney General [Benjamin] Civiletti. Subpoenas will be issued for documentary material, however.

Dr. [deleted name], DDS, Ukiah, California, advised he has done work on Pat Parks, Tracy Parks, Brenda Parks, and Chris O’Neal, and his charts to assist in identification.

Dr. [deleted name], San Francisco, advised he has treated members of PT in past and may have dental records on file to assist in identification of bodies.

Charles Garry, PT attorney, interviewed this date and offered cooperation. Arrangements being made through Garry to interview current members of PT beginning with Sandy Bradshaw. Garry advised that Terry Buford unavailable for interview as she defected from PT approximately two weeks ago and is not in the state of California. Garry advised attorney Mark Lane is in Memphis and furnished telephone number. He advised Lane would know Buford’s whereabouts. Leads have been set to contact Lane and Buford.

At the request of the passport office, Garry is compiling a list of names of people who were known to be in Guyana.

List will be made available to FBI November 25, 1978, and is expected to contain 950 names. Passport office has requested FBI HQ to forward list to Department of State, Washington, D.C. List will be made available to FBI HQ immediately upon receipt.
