For the information of the Bureau, and receiving offices, on November 23, 1978, a list of approximately 900 names believed to be those individuals of the Peoples Temple Guyana operation, was obtained from the State Department Command Center, Washington, D.C. This list has been prepared from Guyanese immigration records, and is believed to be the same list also in the possession of FBI HQ.

November 24, 1978, these names were searched through Washington Field Office indices and a file review is now being conducted.
Additionally on November 24, 1978, [deleted name], Legal Division, Passport Office, United States Department of State (USDS), advised that she was in the process of initiating a search on November 25, 1978, of the passport files of all persons whose names appear on the aforementioned list. The search will involve approximately 15 State Department representatives after which these passport applications will be made available to Washington field. In connection with this, Washington field is preparing 900 file request letters that will be necessary in order to initiate a review by FBI personnel.
Referenced San Francisco communication indicated the existence of a list of all people in Jonestown in October, 1977, which have been compiled by [deleted name], Bureau of Special Consular Services, USDS. Stephen Dobrunchuk, Chief, Special Consular Services (SCS), advised that [deleted name] had been transferred from the unit to Saudi Arabia in April this year, and disputed the existence of such a list, adding that there is no compulsory registration of American citizens with USDS, who are overseas.

Additionally contact was made with [deleted name] which revealed that she has no direct knowledge regarding any threats, against Steven, Anthony or Ann Katsaris. [deleted name] advised that she had learn from Steven Katsaris that these alleged threats were received by the hospital at Roosevelt Roads, San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Armed and dangerous; suicidal tendencies.
