Re Bureau telephone call to AX [Alexandria] November 25, 1978.

On November 25, 1978 [deleted information related to James Schollaert], Arlington, Va., advised that he was a committee staffer for U.S. Rep. Leo Ryan of California and accompanied the congressman along with the following individuals from N.Y. to Georgetown, Guyana aboard a Pan Am flight on November 14-15, 1978:

Bob Brown – NBC crew
Steve Sung – NBC crew
Tim Reiterman – journalist – San Francisco Examiner

It should be noted that [Schollaert] did not travel to Jonestown. [Schollaert] did assist the Chinese authorities to identify those killed traveling in chartered aircraft. [Schollaert] has no direct knowledge of any assassination list published by the Peoples Temple; however, understands through contact with former members and relatives that such a list might exist.

[Schollaert] could offer no additional direct information re captioned matter.
