1. Situation:
A. 912 bodies have been airlifted to Dover AFB DE [Delaware]. A thorough search of Jonestown was conducted to assure all bodies were found/removed prior to departure of military personnel on 25 Nov. Medical records from Jonestown are en route to Dover,

B. COMUSJTF [Command US Jonestown Task Force] to Georgetown completed. Redeployment operations to CONUS [continental United States] underway. 4-UH1H helicopters closed Ft. Benning 262200Z Nov. 78.
C. Government of Guyana (GOG) still has not indicated when remaining cult survivors will be released. State Department indicates many may not be released until sometime in December.
D. GOG request for US helicopter support for 30 days (State Sitrep no. 21, 261846Z Nov 78) is under review.
2. Friendly operations:
A. JCS approved (WIN 196, 262121Z NOV 78) USCINCSO CONPLAN (WIN 193, 262003Z NOV 78). Twu [two] (2) UH-1 helicopters will be provided by USCINCSO to continue support Amemb [American Embassy] Guyana. HH 53 helicopters should not depart Georgetown on 27 Nov until CINSCO helicopters are operational.
B. Total military in Guyana as of 262300Z Nov 78 is 128.
