For information on Los Angeles office Miguel de Pina; DOB 9-29-1884 arrived JFKIA 11-26-78 Pan American flight 228 at 640 PM accompanied by grandson [name deleted]. De Pina and [name deleted] were both interviewed by SA of FBI at JFKIA. [name deleted] advised that he and his grandfather would be departing tonight to LA on TWA flight 17 arriving in LA at 11:45 PM.

LA should note that de Pina is extremely ill and exhausted from his experience in Guyana and flights back to United States. LA should further note that, de Pina advised that he is very frightened and feared that his life is in danger. De Pina advised that Rev. Jim Jones ordered members of the commune to get him.

LA will have agents meet de Pina and [name deleted] at Los Angeles airport. LA will verify where de Pina will be residing and when he will be available for interview. LA will also notify appropriate authorities, LAPD, Long Beach PD, -,$ and Carson PD regarding the safety of de Pina.
