PURPOSE: To request that a cost center code for FBI HQ Command Center be established.
RECOMMENDATION: If approved, the Administrative Services Division will establish a cost center code for FBI HQ RYMUR Command Center.
DETAILS: Captioned investigation is a Bureau-wide special concerning the murder of Congressman Leo J. Ryan on 11/18/78 in Guyana. FBI HQ Command Center has been established under direction of Deputy Assistant Director J. O. Ingram. In view of the large complement of Special Agent personnel involved in coordinating this matter and the expected addition of a support staff, a separate cost center code is advisable for cost accounting procedures. It is noted that a special major case number has already been assigned this matter for field office use.
