San Francisco Daily Summary

Chief AUSA [Sandy] Svetcov, ASAC Lawler, and interviewing agent met with Charles Garry, People’s Temple (PT) attorney, this date to ensure records which Garry voluntarily furnishing for review would not violate attorney-client privilege.

Garry furnished first group of records which consist of information concerning Social Security benefits received by members and the identification of bank account to which the checks were deposited.

A list of the names of the people currently in the San Francisco Temple was obtained this date.

The list of the names which [name deleted] [Sherwin Harris] took to the American Embassy, Guyana, obtained and facsimilied to FBI HQ.

Additional documents concerning the PT which were partially burned found on beach south of San Francisco.

Negotiations continuing through Garry to interview [name deleted] and [name deleted].

Six members of the PT identified as having received 80 hours of training and laws of arrest and firearms from San Francisco PD.

Armed and dangerous. Suicidal tendencies.
