Information received that seven survivors leaving Guyana 11:00 AM, 11/29/78, aboard Pan American flight number 220. This flight arrives JFK Airport 6:15 PM (EST) local time on 11/29/78. Survivors arriving are:
Madeline Brookes [Madeleine Brooks], DOB 12/15/04; Marion Campbell, DOB 4/23 or 26/17; Raymond Godshalk, DOB 4/18/16; Alvaray Satterwhite, DOB 9/17/17; Hyacinth Thrash or Thrush, DOB, 3/25/02; Carol Young, DOB 9/1/00; and Grover Davis, DOB 11/22/1899.
FBI HQ understands that HEW is making arrangements for

housing of the survivors until arrangements are made for their travel to their final destinations in California. New York at Brooklyn Queens will meet this aircraft and interview these individuals. You will be joined in these interviews by United States Secret Service agents. Survivors Davis and Thrash (or Thrush) were at Jonestown during the mass suicide. Thrash (or Thrush) is alleged to have slept through the suicide and Davis was found in a tree in a state of shock. All survivors are to be questioned concerning any knowledge they have of a plot to assassinate Congressman Ryan. They are further to be questioned concerning any knowledge they have of plans of the Peoples Temple to assassinate other high-ranking United States government and local officials. Survivors should be querried [queried] concerning any knowledge of the existence of any “hit squads” either in Guyana or still in existence in the United States. It is imperative that bearing in mind the ages and possible physical conditions of the survivors that complete in-depth interviews covering all aspects of this investigation be conducted.
