1) U.S. AID doctor visited subjects today and reported that they are vastly improved and that their care has been excellent. He sees no reason to continue pressing GOG [Government of Guyana] for permission to move them to private hospital.

2) AID doctor also reported that the medical officer, Dr. Chin feels that Monica Bagby is well enough to be released from the hospital. Dr. Chin will keep her hospitalized, however, pending a decision by the Minister of Health (who is also Chief of the GOG Task Force). If he permits, she will be taken to Park Hotel, where other surviving members are located.

3) Tom Bogue is not yet well enough to be released, and assured U.S. AID doctor he is very well taken care of and does not wish to change hospitals.
