Investigation at Indianapolis, Indiana, this date, has developed the following persons who should be interviewed regarding captioned matter:

Jacksonville at Inglis, Florida. Interview Ozorra Pearson, P.O. Box 72, Inglis, Florida, the older sister of Helen Swinney, a survivor of the Guyana tragedy. Pearson formally lived in California and was a member of the Peoples Temple (PT), and was not allowed to leave California, although she apparently wanted to, until her daughter died in Florida at which time Pearson was allowed to attend the funeral and remained in Florida. After Pearson’s break-a-way from the PT she became fearful, would never discuss her past activities with the PT and did not want her current

address and whearabouts [whereabouts] known.

Los Angeles at Carson City [Carson], and Los Angeles, CA., interview [name deleted], Negro male, age 57, retired from U.S. Army and may have top secret clearance there [deleted information]. Carson City, CA., tel [number deleted; name deleted] was a former youth supervisor with the PT in the Los Angeles area and wanted to go to Guyana with Jone’s [Jones’] group, however, his wife [name deleted] refused to go and [name deleted] supposedly left the PT.

Los Angeles, interview [name and address deleted], Los Angeles, tel no. [Number deleted], a brother of the above mentioned Helen Swinney. It should be noted Helen and husband Cleve Swinney were both active members of the PT and among the original parishioners of Jone’s in the Indianapolis area who subsequently went to California and ultimately to Guyana. Cleve Swinney is believed to have died in Guyana, however Helen Swinney apparently survived when she was on an errand to purchase supplies in another part of Guyana or in Trinidad. Exact details unknown.
