Subject: RYMUR

At 4:10 p.m., 11/21/78, Liaison Officer [name deleted], who was advised by the Crisis Action Team, National Military Command Center, Pentagon, that the identified and unidentified bodies of American citizens from Guyana will be airlifted to Dover Air Force Base, Delaware, from Georgetown, Guyana, in the near future, possibly Thursday, 11/23/78. The Pentagon has the concurrence of the State Department in this transportation.

Liaison Officer [name deleted] was assured by the National Military Command Center that the FBI will be promptly notified in the event that there are any changes in the above proposed transportation plans of bodies from Guyana.

Colonel Aldridge, the U.S. Air Force representative at the Crisis Action Team, Pentagon, advised that there is a possibility that the Department of Defense will request the assistance of the FBI Disaster Team to effect identification of the bodies when they arrive at Dover Air Force Base. Liaison Agent [name deleted] assured the military that the Disaster Team is available and will be activated upon the official notification by the Department of Defense.
