Attorney Mark Lane and client Terri Buford will arrive A.M., December 6, 1978, at San Jose, California, to be interviewed by Robert Breakstone, Chief, Criminal Division, USA’s office; Robert Dondero, AUSA [Assistant US Attorney] handling RYMUR; case agent Donald R. Hale; ASAC Lawrence G. Lawler; and representative of Secret Service. Interview will be conducted in San Jose motel for security purposes and will deal with the type of information Buford has to offer in exchange for immunity.

Subpoenas being obtained for persons arriving at JFK December 6, 1978, and will be telecopied to BQMRA in the event

agents interviewing returnees feel returnee is uncooperative or will disappear after interview.

Conference held this date with COP [Chief of Police Charles Gain], San Francisco, and representative of the District Attorney’s office.

[Name withheld], Civil Division, Department of Justice, Washington, D. C., visited San Francisco office this date and left a two-page list of questions which he desires asked of Temple members. Same questions were attached to an updated letter which [Name withheld] had in his possession to Director Webster from Barbara Allen Babcock, AAG, Civil Division. San Francisco is unaware if these questions have been transmitted to other interested offices and if deemed appropriate, request FBI HQ to do so.

San Francisco has photograph of Eddie James Halllmon which will be displayed to [Name withheld] and [Name withheld] (PT member living in Temple) to determine if he is identical with person known as Eddie Crenshaw.

Michael Abell, Department of Justice, Washington, D. C., is in San Francisco conferring with USA NDC [US Attorney, Northern District of California].
