SUBJECT: DISPOSITION OF REMAINS OF CAROL JOYCE TOUCHETTE AND ALBERT TOUCHETTE

1. Dept. has informed Julia Keely, the aunt of Albert Touchette that Carol Joyce Touchette and Albert Touchette have been positively identified and what disposition would she like to make of the remains. She informed us that, after a conference with all interested family members, they decided that it was the proper responsibility only of survivor, Charles Touchette, the husband and father respectively and they do not wish to be further involved.

2. In view of the statement set forth in Port of Spain’s 3395 (paragraph 3) Mr. Touchette should inform Dover by

cable that he is without funds but he would prefer that remains of his relatives be cremated or whatever else he may wish. Whatever is stated in the cable must be covered by a signed statement by him to the embassy.
