The following survivors were interviewed in-depth upon arrival on Pan-American flight 228 at JFK international Airport 12/2/78.

Edith Parks, [name deleted], Julius [name deleted] [and Sandra] Evans, [several names deleted] [Sharla, Shirelle and Sonya Evans]. All individuals en route to San Francisco on 12/3/78 via TWA flight 41 writing San Francisco 1:55 PM Pacific time.

The following information is submitted as a result of interview at New York:

Edith Parks, 20 year member of PT, interviewed and was a witness to assassination of Congressman Ryan, observed Layton and others kill Ryan and party. Provided name Stanley Geig [Gieg] as driver of tractor which carried gunmen to airport. Parks survived by remaining between other aircraft.

Parks saw a tractor and wagon approach with Stanley Geig driving. Men lying down in the back began shooting. She recognized a FNU [first name unknown] [Ellihue] Dennis as a shooter, and a blonde boy, whose name she could not recall, was shooting. Parks denied any prior knowledge of assassination of Congressman Ryan.

[Name deleted] have identified Jim Jones, Jr. as being in charge of hut number 14 (weapons hut) as having seen a number of “bang type” weapons in that hut. Children also provided

information that they are aware of beatings and coercion of PT members by armed security guards. Interview children indicate a conflict as to the time of the [information deleted] [Evans family] escape from Jonestown.

Mr. [information deleted] [handwritten name “Evans”] but denied administering suicide poison. Mr. [name deleted] Jones [name crossed out, “Evans” inserted] unable to provide any positive information re conspiracy, narcotics, or assassination.
