Reference ur teletype dated November 25, 1978, identifying 32 weapons recovered by Guyanese authorities.
Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) initiated traces of 32 weapons identified in referenced teletype but noted the omission of necessary information for several weapons. FBI personnel requested to re-examine firearms identified in referenced teletype as numbers 10, 21, 26, 27, 28, 29, 31, and 32 and advise FBI HQ of results. Full data as to manufacture, type, model, and serial number of each weapon is required in

order for ATF to conduct accurate firearm traces. Note weapon identified as 21 omitted from referenced teletype. Results of ATF trace on those weapons on which sufficient information received being furnished to San Francisco under separate cover.
