Being forwarded under separate cover letter are two bullet fragments removed from victim at Roosevelt Roads Naval Hospital.

On 11/24/78, [name deleted], Hospitalman First Class, Roosevelt Roads Naval Hospital, Puerto Rico, furnished to SA [name deleted] two bullet fragments which were removed from the left forearm of Anthony Katsaris. Katsaris was shot at Jonestown, Guyana, on 11/18/78.

Bullets were removed from Katsaris’ left arm by Dr. Andrew Kucharchuck, Chief of Orthopedic Surgery, Roosevelt Roads Naval Hospital.

REQUEST OF THE FBI LABORATORY:

The Laboratory is requested to examine enclosed bullet fragments in an effort to possibly identify the caliber, and will also compare these fragments with any weapons that may be shipped to the Laboratory at a later date.

Furnish results to San Juan and San Francisco. Return bullet fragments to San Juan.
