On December 6, 1978, Ezra L. Schacht, father of Doctor Larry Schacht, executed a release allowing physicians in attendance at the Dover Air Force Base, Dover, Delaware, to perform a complete autopsy on the remains of Doctor Larry Schacht, Ezra Schacht’s son. Original release follows via airtel to Baltimore Division. Copy of release to San Francisco.
Ezra Schacht advised that he was not sure he nor members of his family had anything to offer by way of interview regarding the Peoples Temple (PT). Schacht was informed that his attorney, David Berg, had contacted Charles Garry

San Francisco, and Garry recommended to Berg that the Schacht family allow the FBI to interview them and that they should be as open and candid as possible with the FBI. Schacht stated he would contact his attorney regarding these interviews and either he or his attorney, David Berg, would contact the Houston FBI.
Houston will maintain contact with David Berg, attorney for the Schacht family and attempt to locate an interview [2 names deleted], reported to be associates of Doctor Larry Schacht.
Armed and dangerous; suicidal tendencies.
