Re autopsy consent for William Richard Castillo – deceased.

On December 7, 1978, [name and address deleted], Los Angeles, California, telephone [deleted] signed a form authorizing an autopsy be performed on the body of her son, William Richard Castillo.

On December 7, 1978, [name deleted], Assistant to Congressman Edward Roybal, telephone (FTS) 225-6235, telephonically contacted the Los Angeles Office and advised that Congressman Roybal was concerned as to why Castillo’s body was selected. He

was also concerned that this was a very upsetting situation for his mother. Congressman Roybal and Mrs. [name deleted] [Candalerio Barajas] wanted assurance that the body would not be dismembered, the autopsy be performed speedily, and the body not be held up in shipment to Los Angeles for burial rights.

Los Angeles is continuing efforts to locate next of kin of Odell Blackwell and Carl Gloster Hall, but this far has been unsuccessful.

The authorization form for Castillo will be forwarded by airtel.
