Conference held this date with DA [Joseph] Freitas and COP [Chief of Police] Gain [Charles Gain]. COP Gain advises Mayor [Dianne] Feinstein has made overtures to Jean Brown, PT member residing in Temple, to establish rapport with law enforcement and asked that Brown contact Gain. As of 6:00 P.M., this date, Brown had called Gain’s office; however, Gain was out at the time and plans to return Brown’s call later this P.M.
Eleven PT members returning from Guyana via New York scheduled to arrive aboard American Airlines flight 19 at 7:34 P.M., this date. San Francisco FBI is not meeting plane

in view of the extensive interviews done by FBI, New York, and the fact [names deleted] are under subpoena to appear before the grand jury [one word deleted]. However, San Francisco DA investigators are meeting the plane and plan at this point to simply identify the individuals and determine points of contact.
Information received this date from San Francisco DA’s office indicates radio transmission intercepted by ham operator in Connecticut which was being transmitted from Guyana to Cuba. Leads set.
Five possible foreign bank accounts assigned to PT identify and leads set through FBI HQ to Legats.
Armed and dangerous. Suicidal tendencies.
