Agents conducting interviews and related investigation in captioned matter are to be instructed that in-depth interviews are to be conducted. They are to be alert for information concerning other federal or state criminal violations. Should information of this nature should be obtained, separate cases should be opened in those matters within FBI jurisdiction. Dissemination to appropriate authority should be made in those instances where there is no FBI investigative jurisdiction.

Those offices which have not yet responded with results of indices checks on Congressman Ryan, Peoples Temple Church, and Reverend James Jones, should do so immediately as the purpose of the review is to retrieve any information in Bureau files which may be of lead value in the solution of this case.
