Detroit has not identified present or past members of Peoples Temple currently in Detroit area.
Indices searched at Detroit negative regarding People’s Temple of Christian Disciples of God, and Congressman Leo J. Ryan. Detroit has numerous Jim Jones references, but none identifiable with James Warren Jones, aka Jim Jones, who is founder of People’s Temple. Search of indices regarding James Warren Jones also negative.
Detroit has identified relatives of members of People’s Temple, but in accordance with instructions set out in referenced teletype these people are not being targeted for interview, unless so requested by Bureau.

Exhaustive reviews of all newspaper articles regarding situation are continuing and should any individuals associated with People’s Temple be identified and interviewed, results will be forwarded to Bureau.
