Enclosed for the information of the Laboratory Division, FBI HQ, on the following items:
Eleven 7-inch x 1/4 recording tapes
Two 5-inch x 1/4 recording tapes
Nineteen cassettes.
The above-described items are being forwarded to the Bureau under separate cover.
[Name and address deleted], Tennessee, surrendered these items to the FBI at [address deleted], Tennessee, on 11/20/78. These tapes allegedly contain recordings of conversations between the People’s Temple, San Francisco, California, and members of the People’s Temple in Guyana, South America.

It is requested that the Bureau reproduce a minimum of three copies of these tapes, one for the San Francisco Division, one for the FBI, Knoxville, Tennessee, and one for the Bureau.
It is requested upon completion of reproduction the original taste be returned to the Knoxville Division.
