DETAILS: On 12/7/78, [deleted name], Bureau of Inter-American Affairs, State Department, advised Liaison Officer [name deleted], that [name deleted], who indicated she is affiliated with the U.S. Labor Party and a publication called “Executive Intelligence Review” telephoned him on 12/5/78. She related that she has some information regarding the former husband of [name deleted]. The ex-husband reportedly is a marksman and served as a mercenary in Angola in 1974-75. “Executive Intelligence Review” has published information regarding cults, including articles on Peoples Temple subsequent to the tragic events in Guyana. [name deleted] said she is located at [address deleted], N.W., Washington, D.C., telephone numbers [deleted].
[name deleted] stated that he would have no objection in the event the FBI contacts [name deleted] to our making reference to her call to him.
