On 12/6/78, William Skelton, Chief, California State Police advised Attorney General [Evelle] Younger is presently in San Francisco.
Skelton contacted [name deleted], California Department of Justice, assigned to Attorney General’s staff, and advised him of allegation that Younger is on “hit list”.
[Name deleted] stated Younger is currently in his apartment in San Francisco and security personnel have been notified. Attorney General will be advised of the above information when he awakens on December 7, 1978.
