San Francisco may discontinue submission of daily summary teletype, however, FBI HQ is to be kept advised on a timely basis of all significant developments by telephone followed by teletype.
All auxiliary offices and legats are to continue to conduct requested investigation promptly and advise FBI HQ and San Francisco, who is office of origin, of significant developments. Routine matters need no longer be set forth telephonically, but should be communicated by teletype.
The results of all investigation conducted to date have been computerized at FBI HQ. Accordingly, results of all

investigative activity prior to COB [close of business], Friday, 12/8/78, should be furnished to San Francisco and FBI HQ. FBI HQ will computerize this phase of the investigation. The results of all investigative activity conducted after COB, Friday, 12/8/78, should be furnished to San Francisco who will assume responsibility for computerization of this information.
Coordination of investigative activity conducted in Guyana will continue to be handled by FBI HQ.
Routine contacts with other federal agencies will be handled by WFO.
