[Name deleted] interviewed December 15, 1978, in the presence of his personal attorney and the Westchester County, County Attorney. [Name deleted] denied any prior knowledge of the PT, the Jonestown settlement, or the assassination of Congressman Ryan. [Name deleted] also emphatically denied any involvement or knowledge of the drugs used at Jonestown.
[Name deleted] labeled the accusations malicious and totally baseless and speculated that certain people with motives of

revenge, both political and personal, were responsible. He identified these people as [Names deleted] and stated they were not above making telephone calls around the country in furtherance of these motives. He further made accusations that the Bureau was being manipulated and misused by these people and requested a Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) investigation into the source of these allegations.
The Bureau is requested to advise of any further action to be taken in this regard.
