[Name deleted], Pan American Airlines, was interviewed aboard Flight 228 upon its arrival at John. Kennedy (JFK) International Airport, and furnished the following information:
[Name deleted] advised that [two names deleted] boarded the aircraft at Port-of-Spain, Trinidad. [Name deleted] stated that he was advised by the Station Manager at Port of Spain that these individuals were from the People’s Temple (PT) Church. [Name deleted] stated that all three of these individuals were searched prior to being allowed to board the aircraft.
[Name deleted] stated that there was no disturbance and the search of the individuals was the reason for the delay in the departure of the flight.
