1. Commissioner of National Police Lloyd Barker listed the following equipment needs for Jonestown operation on emergency basis:
15-20 – Handy-talkies for short-range communications between units;
3 – Bay stations on same frequency with Handy-talkies.
3. Single-side band radios or equivalent shortwave equipment for communication between Jonestown and Georgetown.
150 – Sleeping bags.
200 – Blankets
C rations for 150 troops for one week.
5 – 40 H.P. outboard motors for river patrol.
5 – Small electric generators.
Loan of one twin-engine small aircraft for duration of the emergency.
