THE DEPT OF STATE HAS BEEN ASKED BY CLEMENT J. ZABLOCKI, CHAIRMAN, COMMITTEE ON INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS FOR A REPORT CONCERNING THE RECENT TRAGEDY IN GUYANA INCLUDING THE PEOPLE’S TEMPLE CHURCH.
ONE OF THE QUESTIONS ASKED IN THE REPORT INVOLVES YOUR BUREAU AND IS QUOTED BELOW:
“WERE THE ACTIVITIES OF THE PEOPLE’S TEMPLE CHURCH INVESTIGATED BY THE FBI AND/OR OTHER U.S. GOVERNMENT AGENCIES AND IF SO, WERE THEIR FINDINGS MADE AVAILABLE TO THE DEPT OF STATE.”
