Department urgently requests Embassy to obtain from GOG an official statement which states: “Under the laws and regulations of Guyana the certificates of death being prepared for the victims of the Jonestown incident are sufficient to permit cremation or burial in Guyana.” This statement is necessary to facilitate cremation or burial in the state of Delaware.
