1. Preliminary hearing in the Congressman Ryan murder continue today with Magistrate Krishna Veni Chinta presiding. Dale Parks was called as the first witness and examined by the prosecuting attorney was concluded. Defense attorney Rex McKay began his cross-examination, which will continue tomorrow (Dec 13).
2. Magistrate Chinta’s experience has been primarily in the Guyanese equivalent of Family Court. She has a reputation for coolness and competence.
