AFFIDAVIT OF SERVICE:

I William Blackman of the Law Court, being duly sworn make oath and say as follows:

1. That I am a Marshal of the Supreme Court of Guyana.

2. That on the 9th day of September, 1977 I duly effected service of the Order of Court herein dated the 6th day of September, 1977, the Writ of Habeas Corpus issued herein on the 6th day of September 1977 and a copy of an Order of Court hearing dated the 8th day of September 1977 by affixing three certified copies of the said Orders of Court and Writ of Habeas Corpus on three buildings constituting the People’s Temporal Agricultural Mission at Kaituma North West District and also by delivering a fourth copy of the said Orders of Court and Writ of Habeas Corpus to Mrs. Touchette.

3. The said Mrs. Touchette was the person who claimed to be in charge of the People’s Temporal Agricultural Mission at Kaituma in the absence of the said Jim Jones. At the time of delivery of the fourth copy of the aforesaid documents, the said Mrs. Touchette was within the compound of the People’s Temporal Agricultural Mission at Kaituma, North West District.
