1. The Embassy has just been notified by the police that the following three Amcits [American citizens] are free to leave Guyana now that the coroner’s inquest is completed:

Michael Joseph Prokes, DPOB: 31 May 47; Ohio, passport no. D 2735282, DPOI: 26 Dec 73; SFO.

MICHAEL JULIEN CARTER, DPOB, 30 SEP 58: CALIFORNIA. PASSPORT NO. F1059605., DPOI, 23 MAY 75, SFO.

TIMOTHY JAMES CARTER, DPOB, 24 AUG 48: CALIFORNIA. PASSPORT NUMBER F016099, DPOI, 2 JAN 75, SFO.

2. The Department is requested to contact Pan-American (New York) and reserve seats on the first available flight to New York (PA 228). Pan Am will undoubtedly request sky marshals, which the Department is also requested to arrange.

3. USSS [Secret Service] and FBI have particular interest in these three travelers.
