This is to confirm ReButelcalls wherein you were informed that eleven cartons of documents and tapes will be flown out of Guyana via Pan-American flight 228, Tuesday, December 28, 1978, to arrive John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFKIA), 6:15 PM, EST.
Assistant Legat Dwight Garretson, Caracas, presently on detached duty, Georgetown, Guyana, telephonically advised December 27, 1978, seven of the cartons will be identified for transmittal to San Francisco and four cartons for

Washington, D.C., for delivery to Radio Engineering Section, FBI HQ. Cartons will bear government bill of lading number 159020. Assistant Legat Garretson advised air flight way bill number will follow via cable from Guyana and will be relayed for your information.
SA Garretson will accompany cartons to Trinidad and then returned to Guyana. Non-stop flight from Trinidad continues to JFKIA.
SA Garretson has also obtained two samples of poisoned Kool-Aid drink used in mass suicides/massacre which are to accompany cartons. These samples will also come to FBIHQ.
For info San Francisco, SA Garretson has been instructed to obtain, if possible, copy of Tim Carter’s passport.
On arrival of cartons JFKIA, after effecting arrangements for flights of cartons to San Francisco and Washington Field, Brooklyn-Queens will coordinate telephonically with San Francisco and Washington Field. Depending on hour of arrival Washington, DC, of cartons for FBIHQ, if after normal working hours,cartons should be brought up to Night Supervisor’s office, Room 5027, FBIHQ.
