[Deleted name] [Odell Rhodes] arrived at Miami International Airport aboard A.L.M. flight 977 at 6:53 PM 12/29/78. He was met by FBI and Secret Service agents, subject went through Immigration and Customs. He was uncooperative and refused to be interviewed, stating he wanted a lawyer present before furnishing an interview. He also refused to be fingerprinted or photographed, but he did voluntarily furnish a copy of his passport picture.

inferred that he did not have a connecting ticket at the moment and was going to purchase one tonight. He furnished [2 lines deleted]. He would not furnish [deleted name] name. He stated that he had someone waiting for him here in Miami, but since plane arrived three hours late, he believed person left.

He was advised to contact FBI office Detroit upon his arrival there. [Rhodes] stated that on Tuesday, January 2, 1979 he would get in touch with the FBI Detroit Office, and submit to an interview.
