1. Please coordinate your request through Department of State. GOG [Government of Guyana] has not been approached regarding or concurred in visit by FBI agent during week of April 23.

2. For your information, House of Representatives Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman [Clement] Zablocki has recently made two written requests to Guyanese Prime Minister [Forbes] Burnham to permit committee staff members to interrogate Guyanese officials regarding assassination of Congressman Leo Ryan. Guyanese government denied both requests and committee staff members were limited to interrogation of US Embassy staff members only during their visit to Guyana.
