Re Caracas teletype to the Bureau April 16, 1979.
Retel set forth the fact that items requested by State Department were previously forwarded by FBIHQ to the United States Embassy at Georgetown. Apparently United States Embassy officials reviewed these documents which were consigned to the Government of Guyana. FBIHQ is unable to identify the exact documents requested by the United States Embassy as the shipment referred to contained voluminous photographs. Accordingly, if the United States Embassy has an official and proper interest in these documents, they should make their own copies as desired prior to delivery to the Government of Guyana.
