MINISTER WILL PROCEED DIRECTLY TO SAN FRANCISCO FOR THE FEBRUARY 1 AND 2 “CONSULTATION ON THE BLACK CHURCH AND THE IMPLICATIONS OF THE JONESTOWN TRAGEDY”, SPONSORED BY THE SOUTHERN CHRISTIAN LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE (SCLOC) WHOSE PRESIDENT, DR. JOSEPH LOWERY, INVITED MS FIELD-RIDLEY DURING HIS DECEMBER VISIT TO GUYANA.

2. DURING HER ELEVEN DAY STAY IN THE US, MS FIELD-RIDLEY IS EXPECTED TO VISIT WITH GUYANESE NATIONALS IN SAN FRANCISO, LOS ANGELES, NEW YORK AND WASHINGTON, D.C. ACCORDING TO LOCAL PRESS REPORTS.
