Re San Francisco teletype to Bureau, 5/4/79.

Enclosed for Bureau are 2 copies each of 5 Xerox copies [word crossed out, word “pages” inserted] of notes furnished by US Consul Douglas V. Ellice.

Above closures being furnished Radio Engineering Section to assist in the deciphering of tapes that Bureau is attempting to obtain from US State Department concerning telephone conversations in Georgetown, Guyana that contained radio traffick in the background.

RADIO ENGINEERING SECTION:

On receipt of tapes from US Department of State will with the assistance of enclosed notes duplicate, transcribe, and attempt to amplify and transcribe radio messages in the background and furnish San Francisco.
