Enclosed for the Bureau are original and one copy of “Last Hour Tape” and FBI Lab report, dated 12/13/78, Lab #81207075-G UV/SH.
REQUEST OF AUDIO ANALYSIS UNIT:
1. With original “Last Hour Tape” attempt to enhance background voices apparently inaudible according to enclosed Lab report. San Francisco is desirous of eliminating background music as well as enhancing voices in background to determine texts and comments made by the “crowd”.
2. Will furnish a copy of above reel to reel tape to the Governmental Guyana through State Department channels as set forth in referenced airtel.
3. Audio Analysis Unit requested to return original tape to San Francisco on completion of examination.
