Mr. Michael J. Prokes

P.O. Box 214
Redwood Valley, California 95470

Dear Mr. Prokes:

I have received your letter of May 9 and I would like to thank you for sending me the material on the People’s Temple. I also appreciate your kind words concerning our interest in the People’s Temple agricultural cooperative here in Guyana. My staff and I are always interested in the welfare of Americans in Guyana, and we are particularly pleased that your project is making such good progress, both at the site and in its public image in Guyana.

I hope that your co-workers here will feel free to stop in to see me from time to time to let me know how things are going or to discuss any problems they are having, and if I can be of any assistance to you, please contact me.

Sincerely,
/s/ Max V. Krebs
