AUSA [Assistant US Attorney], San Francisco, advises NBC New York thirteen-hour video tape will not be subpoenaed but arrangements are being made for purchase. AUSA initiating interview of key witnesses in anticipation of FGJ [federal grand jury], has discussed witness protection program with Department and will start selected protection of key witnesses on November 24, 1978. Local police are continuing protection of persons at Human Freedom Center, Berkeley, California.

Additional leads set to interview HAM radio operators who have monitored People’s Temple (PT) Guyana HAM radio transmissions.

Ukiah, California medical doctor advised he has x-rayed Jim Jones in the past and x-rays may be helpful in identification.
