The below information arises out of an interview with Mike Cartmell on November 21, 1978 at the FBI office, Berkeley, California.
During the above interview, Cartmell advised that Jim MacElvain [McElvane], a People’s Temple (PT) member, has a sister by the name of Kay Nelson, who lives in Los Angeles, California area. Kay Nelson used to be the secretary for the PT. Both MacElvain and his sister are Caucasians [black].
