Subpoenas obtained for [2 lines deleted] [six San Francisco Bay Area banks in which Peoples Temple (PT) accounts believed to exist].

Procedure for obtaining telephone toll records of PT in San Francisco begun.

Mark Lane and USA NDC [United States Attorney, Northern District of California] in telephonic contact re Lane’s client, who he identified as Terri Buford. Discussion centered on immunity, which USA NDC and FBI, San Francisco, believed to be premature.
