1:54:13: Juanita Bogue enters the plane.
1:54:16: As passengers load up the constable with the shotgun watches.
After being abandoned in town by the dump truck, Dwyer and Annibourne were driven to the airstrip by local businessman Jeffrey Semple in his truck. With them were District Officer Thomas, a constable with a shotgun, and Semple’s “two small children”. Some of these might be the approaching people visible beyond the Cessna at 1:53:05. Duga Persaud was the supernumerary constable who was guarding the Guyana Airways Corporation Twin Otter.
On the video we see seven Guyanese men at the Otter:
- Glasses man with a long gun – might be Thomas.
- Scared young man with a long gun – might be the constable.
- Shirted man alarmed at 1:54:38 – not in Cessna scene, might be Semple.
- Smoking man with brown jacket and hat – not in Cessna scene, might be Semple.

You can see Ronnie James at far right jump off the back of the trailer and three others coming up in the trailer. Appears to be someone standing at the back and behind the trailer [Stanley Gieg probably jumped out of the tractor seat and got out of the way right before this].
1:54:49: Ed Crenshaw wearing green and appears to be wearing a hat in the back of the trailer has just aimed and fired and is jumping off. Ronnie Dennis in front of the tractor has fired a shot as there is smoke all around him [person running toward the jungle behind and to the left of Dennis]. In the trailer, left to right: Al Touchette, Joe Wilson, Tom Kice, Crenshaw coming off. Standing in the background is Stanley Gieg.
1:54:50: Tom Kice jumping off the back of the trailer. Wilson moving around in the trailer. Stanley Gieg is still standing around.
1:54:51: Ronnie Dennis aims his rifle or shotgun, Crenshaw comes across the front and shoots his rifle or shotgun.
Al Touchette seems to have a handgun. We can see him aim and some movement, but it doesn’t look like a long gun. One of the witnesses said he had a .45 caliber handgun. Fires at Bob Brown and the camera goes black.
Were Wesley Breidenbach, Anthony Simon,[54] Earnest Jones,[55] Bob Kice, and Ron Talley[56] in the dump truck? We know that Wesley Breidenbach and Ed Crenshaw are there, rode in/drove with the Ryan Party on the truck.

[25] Reiterman, T., 490. Krause says the plane left at 6:16 pm. He said the tractor returned at “exactly” 6:00 pm and the “woman driver announced” that all but Gordon Lindsay would be allowed to go to Jonestown, (Krause, 40). Reiterman said the woman was not the driver but a rider. We believe the driver was Ellihue Dennis and the woman was likely Judy Ijames, (Reiterman, 490).
[26] He said the trip to Jonestown by truck took almost one hour and 30 minutes. He said the group was greeted by Marceline Jones and as he was walking toward the Pavilion, joined soon thereafter by Tim Carter (Krause, 41).
[27] According to an unknown individual who was a former Jonestown resident from a document shared between Fielding McGehee and the authors of this document in 2022. According to Krause’s timeline in the footnote above, it would have been closer to 7:45 PM. Reiterman makes no comment on the length of the trip, though he said the trip back to Kaituma that night took 45 minutes, (Reiterman, 499). Krause says they arrived back in Port Kaituma at 11:30 PM., (Krause, 50).

[29] One of the few eyewitnesses of the massacre to survive Jonestown, Carter, a U.S. Marines Vietnam veteran, was a member since the San Francisco era and had been at Georgetown and Jonestown. He had recently traveled back to the States and infiltrated the Concerned Citizens group at the Human Freedom Center and gathered intelligence on them before returning to Jonestown. He and his brother Mike Carter along with Mike Prokes left the compound with money to be taken to the Soviet embassy in Georgetown shortly after the massacre began and Carter witnessed some of the deaths, including those of his wife Gloria and son Malcolm. In addition to his wife and child, Carter lost his sister, two nephews, a niece, and a brother-in-law and sister-in-law and several close friends during the massacre.
[30] One of the few eyewitnesses to the Jonestown massacre, Rhodes managed to escape and his account formed much of the basis for the initial reporting of events. His story is covered extensively in Ethan Feinsod’s Awake in a Nightmare: Jonestown: The Only Eyewitness Account. (W.W. Norton & Company, 1981)
[31] Approximately three miles from the center of town. The sign reflects the original name of Jonestown. Referred to as the “Front Gate” by community members.
[32] Identified by Beverly Oliver in her FBI/SSA interview as someone she spoke with at Jonestown. Photographic comparison confirms.
[33] Reiterman says Oliver spoke with Edwards on the ride in during the previous night, but he could have mistaken that with this instance where she is clearly conversing with both Mutschmann and the man, or possibly she did so twice (Reiterman, 490-91). Also identified by Beverly Oliver in her FBI/SSA interview as someone she spoke with at Jonestown (Mr. Edwards).
[34] The structure had no formal name/identification according to the 2022 McGehee document source.

Warren Parks died during the Jonestown massacre.
[37] Boyfriend of Brenda Parks.
[38] This must be the beginning of the incident when Krause tried to gain entrance to Jane Pittman Gardens (Krause, 67-68). Reiterman said that he went around back to try to gain entrance while the other reporters were in the front. We know that Jones was involved in the incident when Reiterman tried to enter to interview the residents, so we assume one of these men is Jones (Reiterman, 507-509). It’s just too far distant to make a confirmation.
[39] Dale Parks was a longtime Temple member who grew up in the Church, but had grown disillusioned. He worked in the medical unit at Jonestown as a respiratory therapist. He was an associate pastor during the San Francisco era. His wife, Joyce Beam Parks was away in Venezuela during the tragedy. Parks was onboard the Cessna aircraft when Larry Layton seriously wounded Monica Bagby and Vernon Gosney. Layton attempted to shoot Parks, but the gun misfired and Parks overpowered Layton and wrestled it away from him.
[40] Jerry Parks was a longtime member who had serious doubts about the Church. He reluctantly went to Jonestown earlier in 1978 and immediately regretted it; facing verbal, physical, and emotional trauma. He had been plotting an escape strategy for some time.
[41] Devout Temple member dating to the Redwood Valley era and Port Kaituma Airstrip shooter, severely wounding Vernon Gosney and Monica Bagby before being disarmed by Dale Parks. Former husband of Carolyn Moore Layton and husband of Karen Tow Layton. Son of deceased member Lisa Layton and brother of former member Deborah Layton Blakey.
[42] Temple member since the San Francisco era, and brother of Tim Carter and Terry Carter Jones. [46] Members of the Temple since the Redwood Valley Days. The family consisted of Jim, Edith, Teena, Thom, Marilee, and Juanita Bogue and Harold Cordell (who was in a relationship with Edith). Jim was in a relationship with Luna Murral, but she refused to leave with him. Marilee was a staunchly committed Temple member and remained behind and died during the massacre.
[47] Longtime Temple member from the Indiana days. Considered part of the Bogue group; partnered with Edith Bogue. He lost all his children and many relatives who remained behind. His nephew Mark survived as he was in Georgetown.
[48] Feinsod, 178 mentions that Bruce Turner and Merilee Bogue did not want to leave and it could be presumed they were in the pavilion during this time.
[49] Fondakowski, 230: according to Tim Carter at some point after this Jimmy Jo Cordell screams at Harold: “You’re a traitor! You’re a traitor.”
[50] Teena and Tommy Bogue were both wounded in the leg during the Port Kaituma shooting while trying to pull up the gangway door of the Otter to stop the bullets from entering through the open door of the plane. They and Chris O’Neal and the Parks sisters got lost in the jungle for two days while trying to hide from the gunmen on the airstrip. Teena Bogue Turner was married to Bruce Edward Turner who died during the Jonestown massacre.
[51] A Temple member since the San Francisco era. Son Mark remained behind with Edith Cordell and died during the massacre. The night before, Gosney passed a note to Don Harris thinking he was Congressman Ryan. The note stated he and Monica Bagby wanted to leave. Seriously wounded in the stomach on the Cessna aircraft by Larry Layton during the airstrip shooting.
[52] Friend of Gosney and Temple member since the San Francisco era with her mother Essie Clark. Clark never went to Jonestown. Bagby arrived in Jonestown in July 1978. Seriously wounded in the back by Larry Layton during the airstrip shooting.
[53] According to Feinsod, 181 at this time Marilee Bogue shook her fist at Tommy Bogue and screamed that she was changing her name.
[54] He was named by multiple witnesses as being at the airstrip but is not seen in the footage.
[55] He was named by multiple witnesses as being at the airstrip but is not seen in the footage.
[56] Ron Talley was only named by Jim Cobb as being at the airstrip but is not seen in the footage.
